The Edge Nails Review

It's been a very long time since I last blogged - for which, apologies - but sadly I'm finding that I have very little spare time in my life at the moment to blog - as any nail blogger will tell you swatching, photographing, editing and writing up is a long process - often hours long for a whole collection - and when you work full time it's hard to fit that in around, you know, living life.  This is why it's taken me so long to get around to posting about a new retail brand - The Edge Nails.  Historically they have sold their products to wholesalers, nail salons and nail technicians but now they are available to all of us too.  They sent me a big box of things* to try out (see above) - so you can see they sell all sort of different nail-related products.

There's a huge range of nail files and buffers - the ones pictured above are the Black Beauty nail file (38p), the Zebra curved file (64p) and the Super Shiner (£1.14).  The little bottle of nail polish remover is so cute and perfect for travelling, but at £2.82 (when you can get a 250ml bottle for £4.50) it's quite pricey (I didn't find that it was any better than the nail polish remover I can get in Boots or Superdrug).

To the polishes - now these are a real little bargain - at just £2.76 each they're affordable and there's a huge range of colours.  The quality is good - the swatch photos below show two coats of each without a top coat (though when wearing them properly I have worn, as I always do, a coat of Seche Vite over the top for extra gloss and extra wear time).

San Francisco

Coney Island

Surfers Paradise

They also do French Manicure sets - the one in the photo at the top is this one at £7.80.
