White and Black Nails by Neringa at #BootsFeelLikeNew

Last night I had a fabulous evening with Blog-Me-Beautiful Emily at the #BootsFeelLikeNew event in Soho.  They had life-size favourites (like a massive lipstick and eyeshadow!) which we enjoyed posing by and yummy little macarons to snack on.  I'll be saying more about the event in a post coming up soon, but today I thought I'd just focus on the awesome nails I had done by Neringa from Hari's Salon on the Kings Road.  White nails are going to be on trend again this year, so the nail girls were offering lots of different whites, including Butter London Cotton Buds (£12), Seventeen Lasting Fix Mini Skirt (£2.99) and Essie Blanc (£7.99).  On Neringa's recommendation, I went for the Essie polish (I've found in the past that Butter London polishes don't always last very well, due to the 3-free nature of them).  Anyhow, Neringa then took inspiration for the black stripes from Sophy Robson's nail menu, which she did with a striper brush and No 7 Just Black (£6).

What do you think of these nails? I totally love them and will definitely be sporting them again - I think they're really effective and they're also super quick and easy to do.  Come and join the conversation on Twitter with #BootsFeelLikeNew.
