Barry M Matte Black with White Stitches Nail Art

Ah wow, it's been a whole lot of time since I last posted. I sort of thought I'd be able to keep up with the regular posts when term started back in September but turns out, the job and life took over and I've had so little time to paint my nails, take photos, edit them and write posts. I'm going to try to do it as much as possible - but it's not going to be as frequent as it was in the summer. I have got a few posts scheduled for this week (a mixture of nails and beauty), so look out for them.

A few weeks ago now I bought the new Barry M Matte nail polish in black - I love the look of matte nails, especially black ones, and it's great not to have to paint shiny black and then use a matte top coat.  These dried really quickly and coverage was really opaque - these show two coats below.  I have to say that I got tip wear very quickly on these - after just a day they were looking a bit tired.  I suppose that's the trade off with it not being a top coat!

I wanted to do some really simple nail art (because time was a factor), so I went for a white stitch design, using the Barry M white nail art pen.
