Essie Week: Green Ombre Stripes Nail Art with Essie Mojito Madness and Mint Candy Apple

Carrying on with Essie Week today... last week I posted a couple of ombre stripes designs - blue and pink and I can't get away from how much I love it so I tried it with some greens. Sadly I don't think it looks as good as the blue or pink versions - I used Nails inc Knightsbridge Green as a base, then Essie Mojito Madness, then Essie Mint Candy Apple and finally Models Own nail art pen in white. I'm not a fan of Nails inc Knightsbridge Green AT ALL. It is the worst staining nail polish I've ever used! And it drags when you put a top coat over it - which is why the white stripe in the middle of these nails looks green and all the other ones look nothing like what they should look like. So this is a bit of a fail in my eyes, but it got a few compliments (perhaps they were being nice...!)

What do you think of this design? Have you tried it yet? I've got a tutorial here if you'd like to see how it's done.
