Enough of the excuses. Here's a quick little stamping mani. I haven't done any stamping for a long time, but I thought I would get involved with this week's Adventures in Stamping's 'We Stamp on Sundays' - which is French mani themed. I used a base of Nails inc Lowndes Court (which was in a recent summer must haves box of 10 that Nails inc came out with a couple of weeks ago). It's a lovely deep purple but not so deep you can't see it's purple (if you know what I mean). It dries to a satiny finish and has amazing coverage in just one coat (but I did two because one never feels enough to me, despite coverage). I did a coat of No 7 Quick Dry top coat before using Bundle Monster plate BM18 to do the French tip with Konad special white stamping polish.
I found stamping the French tip frustrating and had to redo about 7 nails - so after the top coat smudged on my ring finger, I couldn't be bothered to fix it! Have you got any tips for foolproof stamping? Let me know in the comments below!
I can stamp but struggle with the french tip, annoying! :)
