To create this dotticure I used my dotting tools (here on Amazon for £2.20) in two different sizes, dotting with Models Own Apple Pie (which smells awesome). In the middle of the bigger baby green dots, I did a smaller dot of the Essie Mojito Madness.
In hindsight, I think I should have done the dark green dots in a different colour, like pink or something. Ah well, there's always next time! Double dotticures are definitely fun and I'll definitely be doing another one again soon.
You can find both Essie and Models Own polishes in selected Boots stores in the UK. Essie sells online from their website in the US, but a lot of UK websites stock them too (I'd have a Google - you might find it cheaper on Amazon). Models Own sell to the UK from their website and have a bottleshop at Westfield White City.
What do you think? Have you ever tried a dotticure? Will you be trying a double dotticure? What colours would you choose?
I'm linking up with the Nail Files this week - come over and have a look! Let me know if you've stopped by from the Nail Files too!
As a somewhat amusing little post script to this post, those of you who follow me on Instagram (@fundaflawless if you don't - come join!), I thought I would show a little accident I had when I was painting last night... whoopsie.
Brilliant idea, I'll have to try it sometime :)
