Models Own Beetlejuice Aquaviolet and Silver

I haven't done any successful stamping for a while so thought I'd give it a go with Barry M's silver foil as I've read in many places that metallic polishes work really well.  And work well it did.  It's the first time I've properly worn Models Own Beetlejuice in Aqua Violet.  The Beetlejuice range are all duo-chrome shades, this one is a mix of dark purple and blue.  I put it on this morning and did three coats to get proper opacity, but I still felt the colour was lacking somewhat, so I took it all off and started again, but this time used Barry M's Gelly Blackberry as a base coat, with one coat of Aqua Violet on top - and this is how that came out:

Much prettier than just Aqua Violet on its own (which I forgot to take a photo of!)

For the stamping I used Bundle Monster stamping plate BM16 (again):

Here's how the stamping turned out:

These were under a light, to try to get the shimmer of the Beetlejuice to show through.

Have you tried any of the Beetlejuice range? Which is your favourite?

I'm linking up this week with the Nail Files - come join us!

I really must try my (only) stamping plate again - or buy some more or something.
